- Our Dental carrier is Aetna. (Some employees may be in the grandfathered plan, Group Dental)

- Dental plans are based on your union, or unaffiliated status.
- There are no payroll deductions for dental coverage. If elected, the District pays the premiums to coverage employees and eligible dependents. Employees would only pay any applicable co-pays for services that are rendered.
- Majority of employees are under the Aetna Freedom of Choice Dental plan.
- If you are currently under Aetna Dental and you would like to switch from DMO to DPPO or DPPO to DMO you must reach out to Aetna directly at Aetna Dental hotline: 1.877.238.6200
- Some employees may be under the Group Dental plan (Unions: BTC, CASA, Local 3, 32, 68, 617, NTA, and unaffiliated members). This is a closed plan, and you only visit five locations. No new hires can enroll onto this plan.
